Donington Park Circuit

Donington Park:
Being the first permanent motor racing circuit in England, the venue is historic. Over the years, Donington Park has been home to many motorsport events including BTCC, British Superbike Championship, Superleague Formula and also Truck Racing. As of 2003, the park also hosts music events, which once included Monsters of Rock from 1980’s to early 90’s and also home to Download Festival. Located south west of Nottingham, south east of Derby and is situated in Leicestershire.

Donington can easily be compared to Castle Combe in Wiltshire. Both circuits have a long history in motorsports and track days and are both considered well-known and popular tracks. Castle Combe has a wide track that boasts a good surface too, and is an extremely fast circuit for any level of driver.
If you are looking for a track in a similar area to Donington Park, realistically you would be looking at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground. The two tracks are approximately 44 minutes door-to-door from each other, so is ideal if you wanted to experience this new modern track with a range of Supercars.
